Check iPhone Carrier Blacklist Status using IMEI
iPhones with Blacklisted Status are the mobile devices reported as lost or stolen by their owners to a carrier. Once a device is blacklisted, a carrier blocks its signal and the iPhone can’t be used for calls, texting or data use not only within this carrier’s network but also within nearly all major networks worldwide. The other reasons for blacklisting are lack of up-to-date information in a carrier’s database, insurance-related frauds or outstanding accounts.
Check iPhone Blacklist Status service by IMEI.TOOLS allows you to remotely check the Blacklist status of your Apple device using the Global Service Exchange Database (GSX) which is official massive data information collected by Apple.

What is Carrier Blacklist?
Blacklist is the Global database created by GSMA allowing carriers to exchange IMEI Numbers of the devices reported as blacklisted (lost or stolen) to carriers across the globe which makes these devices nearly useless in any country. All approved GSMA partners have access to the database.
Carriers are not the only approved GSMA partners. Retailers, recyclers, insurance companies, and even law enforcement agencies have access to this database. This way, sell or use of a reported device becomes nearly impossible which increases the chances of a legal owner to receive the lost device back.
